Nenfort was a Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos. Coming in with the vision
of his cousin, Joseph, he dared a lot of forces to make a difference. Even though this was met with resistance and he was
denied a second tenure, he left indelible marks.

He transformed the Information Technology (computer) vision of the institution. Today the Institution ranks as the best
in the computer technology vision.

He restored quality in the system and resisted outside pressures that his predecessors had succumbed to during admission.

He defied the mystery behind the movement to the permanent site. He. converted the gigantic Library project on the permanent site to house the Faculties of Arts and Social Science.
Nenfort was the first VC of any Nigerian University
to produce a five-year strategic plan. The Nigerian Universities Commission has since made it a model and asked other institutions
in the country to emulate it. |
